A Tracker Dog Clinic is a mini‐workshop hosted by K‐9 Alliance of Iowa focusing on tracking and trailing dogs for search and rescue and law enforcement. 2011 Tracker Dog Clinic We all agree that the 2011 Tracker Dog Clinic was our most successful event yet! The feedback has been exceedingly positive! By design, the class sizes were kept very small and handlers approved as everyone got tons of quality work in each day and had plenty of opportunity to discuss training ideas and problem solving with instructors. Students were able to run trails of all kinds in all sorts of environments from wilderness to shopping centers. Participants came from 7 different states and from many backgrounds and fields of work including police, search and rescue, sheriff, military, corrections and urban search and rescue. We appreciate everyone's hard work, especially the helpers, subjects and instructors; Rob Burdess, Laura Denison, Randy Huckaby, Chad Leadley and Steve Wald. And a special thanks to the cooks for Saturday night's meal-it was unbelievable! We hope to see everyone back next time.
